He is a world-renowned record collector and music historian, whose life long passion for music of all kinds (from Frank Zappa to punk rock and everything in between) is reflected in his radio show and most importantly in this unique collection of rare songs from the early 1900s of recordings. 24 tracks of vintage tracks from Demento's personal collection featuring Eddie Cantor, Billy Murray, Bert Williams, Ada Jones, Billy Jones and many other performers from the golden age of 78 rpm recordings.

Disclaimer: These recordings were transferred from 78 rpm originals made between 1895 and 1923, before the introduction of electronic recording and before the development of modern materials for mastering and pressing. Though the best available copies were used and digitally processed for the finest possible sound, these recordings are not high fidelity... they are first century dementia!
